The season of graduation is at high spirit this month. After this celebration, many student nurses are now proud graduate nurses. However, the challenge is not yet over, the Nurse Licensure Exam is at hand and needs to be hurdled.
I am a new registered nurse. I took my exam last November 29 and 30, 2008. After those days of hard analysis with that examination, I merely see myself not passing it. It is because I found the exam very difficult (this only proves that no exam is simple… LOL!) What I did? Just constant prayers…
Months of waiting for the release of the exam, I told myself that when I pass, I will try to inspire student nurses in the academe or in a review center. To inspire, meaning, to make the students better understand ‘why we took up nursing’. Most probably, things are impossible to achieve right now because reality says that to become a Class Facilitator or Clinical Instructor and even a Review Lecturer, one needs to be an expert and has an experience in the hospital.
With technological advancements, I found blogging an interesting way of inspiring and giving lectures. In this very small way I can, I do hope that this blog will be helpful in disseminating information and facts.
